National Cherry Blossom Festival
Join the nation in the annual celebration of the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Toyko to Washington, DC. The gift honors the lasting friendship between the United States and Japan.
The two-week festival hosts events such as the Blossom Kite Festival and time-honored National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. Locals and tourists alike can look forward to the fun and exciting events set to the backdrop of beautifully blooming trees.
